I’m happy to announce I’ve been selected as the 2009 winner of Clef Work’s annual composition competition. I’ll be traveling in January to Montgomery, Alabama to work with the amazing JACK Quartet in preparation for the premiere performance of “The Open Road.” Here’s a video by JACK.

Also coming up: big show at Public Assembly on November 9th. The David Crowell Ensemble will be playing a set of almost entirely new music and sharing the evening with amazing bands NOOK and Adalimumab. Not to be missed!
