I was riding my bike the other night and I passed through Prospect Park. There was a concert happening at the Bandshell, and it struck me how amazing it is to see live music as the sun is going down in a beautiful park surrounded by music lovers and very tall trees.

With that being said, I invite to you come hear the Philip Glass Ensemble perform Powaqqatsi with film (the 2nd in Godfrey Reggio’s Qatsi Trilogy) @ Prospect Park on July 25th. The concert features the core ensemble + brass, strings and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. It’s also free.
